To mark the 100 years since the end of World War One we asked the children and their families to create some form of poppy display at home for, what we thought would be a small display in the entrance.
Once again I have been blown away by the amount of work that has come into school. It looks as if every child has created at least one poppy and the creativity is amazing.
After much blu-tak and all hands on deck the poppies are displayed in the windows of the offices, staff room and entrance in the junior building. I know many of you have already had fun trying to spot your own work!
Again, massive thanks to everyone that helped their children and I’m sure you will agree that our display really encompasses our community spirit and is a fabulous tribute to those that have lost their lives in war.
Well done every one.
